Some like to say,
“You’re building
castles in the air,
there’s no chance
the new world
you desire will
come to fruition”.

Maybe that’s a
big problem
with this world,
when destroying
is normalized,
there’s no space
to build dreams.

Maybe some
naysayers forgot
how to dream,
so they seek
to destroy
other’s dreams
out of spite.

Perhaps we
who know how
need to teach
and encourage
those who don’t,
so everyone can
have a dream.

Without dreams
our future is
doomed to fail,
so humanity
needs to share
a dream we can
build together.
