Fathers

230430a

If you’d like a lighthearted Sunday read related to fathers, I recommend a visit to Wynne Leon’s blog Surprised by Joy. Every Sunday she posts some funnies derived from her late father’s collection. I will let the rest be a surprise!

You’ll find today’s smiles from Wynne here: Sunday Funnies April 30

I share some sweet springtime memories of my own father here: It Will Be Spring Soon

And another blog I love, One Womans’ Quest II by VJ Knutson, also features a post today about fathers and daughters and the genetic pool. Find it here: Curly

Happy Sunday! 🙂

My pleasure, Wynne. I probably should have waited a few weeks to post “Fathers” on Father’s Day, but patience isn’t one of my virtues. Lol I always enjoy visiting your site and reading.

That is lovely post you linked us to Susan. The joys of spring are full and fresh. And blossoming trees promise warmer days ahead filled with abundance. You don’t have to go as far as Japan to delight in the Sakura. We have them here in Niagara too. Even some from Japan. Interesting isn’t it. I wrote a post about it last spring. I do love cherry blossoms too. 🌸 Thank you for sharing this joy.

Oh my goodness Susan, I just read it and wow! Truly incredible. The depth of your prose, the images and lives they reveal, the stories they tell, Incredible! Love is all that it’s about, yes we are infinite and all connected. Thank you for sharing this with me. Yes, I understand.

I don’t know the exact when, but the awakening is happening quickly now, in direct proportion to the level of control being exerted on this planet. People have the choice to say no to it, or not. The things being offered (or even pushed on us) are disguised as “for our good”. We have free will. Will we as a collective grow up and take responsibility for our destiny? It hangs in the balance right now.
