I don’t know
why we can’t
have a happier
world than this.

I guess we
are addicted
to our unhappiness,
otherwise we’d
just say no to
the psychopaths,
the insanity
of it all,
snap our fingers
and wake from
this twisted
dream we insist
upon calling
reality,
and begin
creating something
different.

What are
we waiting for?
Someone
to give us
permission,
someone to
tell us how
to do it,
someone
who’ll do
it for us.

Those some
ones aren’t
coming.

I want a
different reality.
I believe
that must
be possible,
and I want to
help build it.
