Einstein’s Wisdom

If ever words were visionary and tailored for our times, these by Albert Einstein have to be near the top of such a list:

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. ~ Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was not just a scientist; he was also a huge observer of life and human behavior. He passed away in 1955 at the age of 76. I wonder what he would think of society today? Here are a few more observations from Albert that he might still stand by:

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”

“Information is not knowledge.”

“A true genius admits that he/she knows nothing.”

“The important thing is to keep questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”

“Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it.”

“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”

“What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right.”

“In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”

“Laws alone can not secure freedom of expression; in order that every man present his views without penalty, there must be spirit of tolerance in the entire population.”

“It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.”
