Your Infinite Potential

Are you happy with where you’re at in your life right now? I know, 2020 put a real damper on that thing we call “happiness”. It does not help when the mass media constantly tells us we might as well forget real happiness any time soon; we “need to” hunker down and settle for thoughts grounded in limitation.

Consider this. It’s a new year and psychologically a clean slate (if we allow it to be). Waking up and honestly addressing the root of unhappiness is the first important step to changing it. It’s just too easy to gloss it over, or numb it with small pleasures. I’m seeing way too many “jokes” out there about the weight people put on eating junk food in 2020 to salve their misery.

This article outlines six factors that require just a little effort and are likely to increase your happiness quotient. If you don’t want to read the whole article, scroll to the bottom: The formula for a happy life…

The sky is not the limit. You are full of INFINITE possibilities. Big changes require baby steps. And the good feeling you get from a small change grows into desire to do more. It’s the ripple effect.

I’ve started a journal of my daily actions and successes, big and small, that contribute to my happiness and sense of fulfillment this year. What are you doing right now to move towards yours in 2021?

Inspirational Quotes:

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and openhearted vision of people who embrace life.”
~ John Lennon

“You learn something valuable from all of the significant events and people, but you never touch your true potential until you challenge yourself to go beyond imposed limitations.”
Roy T. Bennett

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
Muhammad Ali

“The choices you make now, the people you surround yourself with, they all have the potential to affect your life, even who you are, forever.”
Sarah Dessen
