Our Choices, Our Voices

We all agree on certain human moral laws, that stealing, cheating, murdering, etc are bad. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

But beyond that, when it becomes mandatory that we all think and behave exactly the same way, we are entering Orwellian territory. Good behavior in a society should be grown from the inside out, not the other way around. We are human beings, not cookies cut out with a mold.

If we are not happy with our society, forcefulness and control are not going to fix it. Humanity sorely needs a spiritual awakening here on planet Earth. It begins with each of us, inside out. You have choices and you have a voice. As Roy T. Bennett says, “Choose wisely.”

“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.” ~ Roy T. Bennett
