In our world and society today, it can be very
easy to be blind to the wide variety and
depth of beauty surrounding us. Firstly, our
society tends to create tight definitions of
beauty. Secondly, we are deeply distracted
by our technologies.
Beauty is everywhere, and nature is a
wonderful teacher for seeing it. She hones
our ability to see, “seeing” being a very
different thing from “looking”. When we truly
see something, we enter the realm of feeling
it too. Walk in nature and practice seeing.
A whole world of beauty will then
gradually reveal itself to you, everywhere.
