“You are free when you believe you are.” I know, this sounds too simplistic, yes? But think about it, you were born as a free spirit into this world. What convinced you that you are not? Society? The rules? Your upbringing?
Freedom begins in our minds. It is a belief, a thought form, it resides in the deepest part of our souls. It is always there, but it can become very buried.
Ask yourself today, “Am I really free in my mind?” And if your answer is no, perhaps it is time to ask yourself why. What are the thoughts that hold you hostage?
“You are free when you believe you are.” The doorway is waiting.
“Life without liberty is like a body without spirit.” ~ Kahlil Gibran
“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ~ Benjamin Franklin
“The secret to happiness is freedom. And the secret to freedom is courage.” ~ Thucydides
“Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.” ~ Bob Marley
“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.” ~
