One of our greatest life challenges is to reach deep inside ourselves and claim that which makes us unique in this world. And when we find it, to hang onto it fiercely. If society successfully demands that we think, do, and say the same as everyone else, what kind of road are we traveling down?
If we’re not careful, before we know it we’ll have a Ministry of Truth, shades of George Orwell’s 1984. You may think I am kidding, but… History says, this stuff has a way of sneaking up and biting us when we’re not looking.
So never let go of what is amazingly, astonishingly, wonderfully, gorgeously, remarkably, extraordinarily, uniquely you. Defend your right to think your own thoughts and speak your own truth. The world needs your inspired heart and soul, your fire, perhaps more now than at any other time in history.
When you honor yourself that way, you become a light for the world.
